A boy and his father were walking in the mountains. Dear Mrs. Huggett,

There was once a poor woman who lived in a little cabin（小木屋）in a forest. She had two daughters, Snow-White and Rose-Red.

Peter Judd wanted very much to be a soldier when he was a child. So he joined the army when he was eighteen, and for several months he was taught how to be a good soldier.
